Recipe

1. Take one cup of water and heat it to 115 degrees Fahrenheit. Add the 1 tbsp of dry yeast and one tsp of sugar to the hot water. Keep aside for 10 minutes for activating yeast.
2. Add 2 and half cups of all purpose flour, one tbsp of olive oil, and 3/4 tsp of salt to the mixture. Mix all of this together and knead the dough until all of it is smooth. After this, cover the bowl with a wrap and keep it aside for one hour for fermenting.
3. The dough should be two times its original size. Remove dough from the bowl and place it on the cutting board. Cover the cutting board with flour before putting the dough on top of it.
4. Cut the dough into 16 pieces. They don't have to be a specific size. But they should be around the same size.
5. Take each piece and shape it into a 6 inches long stick with your hands. Make a knot with this piece of dough. Repeat for each piece. Put all of these on a baking sheet. You might need two. Cover and keep it for another half an hour.
6. Preheat oven at 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Put the 4 tbsp of butter and 2 tsp of garlic powder in a bowl. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds. Mix it up and apply on the garlic knots.
7. Put it in the oven for 10-15 minutes until the knots turn light golden color.
